Naval Health Clinic Hawaii Makalapa

The care given at Makalapa Clinic is and has always been great! (5-Stars)nHowever, there is an on-going aggravation that they seem to refuse to address when scheduling appointments by phone. Just about the time I'm convinced that my next prompt will connect me to a human, it either drops my call or loops back to the main menu. (Zero-Stars...I had to give it at least one to post.)

Nearly impossible to create appointments by phone. Numbers are either disconnected or redirect you to the main menu.

Impossible to make an appointment, the staff is extremely rude and will hang up the phone out of no where. Don’t expect help from them.

I have lived on island for over 3 years and have had nothing but great experiences with many of the providers and clinics at Makalapa. I have primarily seen Dr. Valenzuela in the Red Team and she is amazing! She is so attentive and will spend as much time as you need during your visit. She is one of the best providers I've ever had on a military installation. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is nervous about military providers and services. Everyone from the front desk to the corpsmen to the medical providers and beyond are so friendly and professional. Thank you all for your service!

Me and my daughter always have a great experience, ever since she was was born we had no problems after getting her shots. I haven't had any problems rafter getting mine either. Her 9 month appointment is tomorrow and I'm worry free.
