Had the signature steak. Cooked very well, meaning perfectly medium rare and the coconut battered shrimp was done almost perfectly. Not a easy thing to do. Side of asparagus left a little to be desired and the soft drinks tasted like the lines could use some work. Well run front of house, servers worked as a team. Not many options to eat in the area. This place is a gem. Will definitely be back on my next pass through. Rated a 4 but knowing management looks and responds to reviews supports my opinion of well run front of house and that makes them a 5. Support independent restaurants. They have been pounded the past year. Their beauty is in uniqueness and character. This place has both with a good meal.
I would probably give this place 4.6 stars if I could.nPROS:nService was excellent, fast and friendly.nKids meals were very reasonable priced, which is a huge bonus for our family!nSteak was cooked to exactly medium well as requested.nDrinks were always fillednSammy the Bull meal was amazing! Flavors were very good together.nAmbiance of 1950s gangsters was really cool and you could feel it throughout the restaurant.nnCONS:nWhere I would take a 1/2 star away is a couple of small things.nThe shrimp we're overly fried so they were almost burnt.nThe kids mac and cheese was definitely from a box.nSide dish portions were small. Everything else was awesome!nnAll around a great place to go eat with family and friends!
The burger and sandwich are great. Fresh cut fries for the 5 stars. Service was excellent. Prices are good
The food was alright and service was fine. There wasn't anything overly special about this place. I would eat there again.
Good complimentary breakfast. Great rooms, clean and cozy great for groups but do not expect privacy like most motels if things begin to heat up at night
