Stop at this place! If you are visiting Capitol Reef National Park or just passing through this is a must. We had the salted Carmel shake, a raspberry white mocha, and a frozen vanilla white mocha. All of which were amazing! The sizes are giant for the price and they even offer a discounted child’s shake with purchase of a regular drink. We purchased the strawberry shake which was quite frankly the best we’ve ever had. I say this because we had to fight our two year old for sips since it was so good. Family-owned by the nicest people and the conversation was fun while waiting for our drinks. If you are coffee snobs like us, don’t miss this place. This will easily rival your current favorite coffee house. Anyone that says different is just flat wrong.

Dark Sky Coffee was one of the best locals spots in the area for some nice hot coffee to get your day going! This cafe is only open on certain days of the week and we were lucky to come across it during our visit in Capitol Reef National Park. We had their standard hot mochas and bagel-cream cheese sandwiches. A must stop if you are in the area!

I can honestly say this was the BEST coffee I’ve ever had! I got the Iced Mocha/White Chocolate— the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor.nWe traveled through Torrey during the off season so we found it extremely difficult to find any businesses open. Luckily, Dark Sky was open and I’m glad they were. The owners are super friendly and personable, would definitely recommend!!

Incredibly cute place right outside of Capitol Reef NP. We got just after 8 AM - there were 3-4 cars in front of us. It took about 20 minutes to get through the line - which is a little longer than we hoped, but wasn't terrible either. We had the house coffee - which was decent. Breakfast burritos were only ok - the texture between the egg and sausage just meshed together in a blob. All in all, a great stop, but could use some tweaks. They are only open a few days a week - so be sure to check their FB page for latest info and offerings.

The only thing better than the coffee at Dark Sky is the service....both of which are fantastic. I spent at least 15 minutes talking to the owner about coffee, Utah, and everything in between. An absolute must visit when you're in and around Torrey. You feel like you're talking to a long-time friend.
