A big thank you to UCHealth EMS for their patience and persistence when they were called for me at my gym a few weeks ago.nnI was ridiculously unclear, a little scared and certainly less than happy to see them. Despite my being resistant and uncooperative they were incredibly patient. Even though I was released from the ED that night, I was able to take a moment - along with some fluids and potassium;) to feel a little better and realize I hadn't been feeling awesome in awhile and that some of it may be a little concerning.nnTwo days later I experienced the same sensation I had at the gym while driving. I pulled over and called for help for myself. Subsequently I went into sinus arrest leading to PEA and asystole at the hospital.nnI genuinely appreciate the EMS team that helped me out at the gym. I allowed them to do almost nothing. But they didn't leave. Their concern, insistence and persistence got the ball rolling and allowed me the opportunity to ultimately reconsider just sleeping it off on the side of the road the next morning.nnI spent some time in Cardiac Critical Care and have been discharged.nnThough I know you guys probably do it all the time - well done.nnThanks a bunch. Be Well - Aly

Would like to thank Mike for being firm, but kind. The team was professional and polite. Thank you!

I’ve encountered twice ambulances who turn on their siren to get me to move but quickly turn it off and show no indication of an emergency. Almost as if they are using it as a horn. And I find this to be an abuse of authority as well as the emergency services. The only time that siren should go on is if there is an emergency not because another car got in front of you. If you abuse this then how is anyone going to know when you are serious and take the needed actions for you to assist others. I’ve tried call to make a complaint but never get ahold of anyone and no one answers the phone. This needs to be addressed.
