Union Bar & Soda Fountain

I've had drinks here a few times over the years but hadn't had the opportunity to eat at Union until this past week. The drinks have always been top notch and creative. The food was quite good too. I enjoyed the Beef Manhattan with a side of roasted vegetables. My wife and I enjoyed the Porch Sling and Wild Root cocktails (pictured). The restaurant is very open with a full bar in the center. A large, windowed, garage-style door opens the main seating area to the spacious outdoor patio. The restaurant is very inviting and the food completes the deal. We will be back for sure.

Looked for a dinner location in Fort Collins so the whole family could be happy - goal met! Although the terms “diner” and “soda fountain” are used to describe this place, it’s definitely a modern, upscale version. That said, kids were completely welcome and catered to, and the service was 100% friendly. The cocktail and beer offerings appealed to my friend and me, the girls loved their chocolate and salted caramel shakes, and we all enjoyed our comfort-meal entrees (hot dogs, mac n cheese, etc.)

Wow! What a great place! It's beautiful, I want my house to look like this place. The drinks, food and service are excellent. The boozy milkshakes are reason enough to go here. Definitely one of my new favorite places.

Stopped here for a late lunch and we were so glad that we did!! Really amazing atmosphere and a solid drink selection. The grilled cheese appetizer was amazing and was a favorite of our table. They have a really nice patio that can accommodate a lot of people safely

We started out with the pretzel and cheese. Pretty good but on the app we loved the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. The flavor was amazing with the bread and cheese they use worked amazing. I had the pork shoulder sandwich and it was moist and delicious. The daughter had the burger and it was moist and tasty. The string fries where awesome. Warning! The drunken doughnut is strong in the alcohol. It was too strong for us but if you like the whiskey you’ll like these. Very nice restaurant atmosphere and clean. The waiter was very good.
