Wesley & Rose Lobby Bar

Dined here tonight for my second annual birthday dinner for their amazing lobster Mac and Cheese. This place is stunning to start with- the hand crafted cocktails are well balanced and delicious, every food item we have tried has been perfectly executed, and the service staff is warm, friendly and truly cares about their guests. This year we booked a hotel room to stay the night because we enjoy this restaurant so much. Thank you staff at Wesley and Rose Lobby Bar! Keep up the great work!

The atmosphere & aesthetic of this place is excellent. However, the food is just average. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but it's true. I'm thinking the 289 5-star reviews are in response to the free beer or wine you get if you write a review and show your server. The cocktail I got was very good. But the burgers and fries were very average. The tomato soup was bland and tasted like basic marinara sauce heated up. Service was okay.

I generally steer clear of these upscale places because the extra money they spend in decor gets stolen from the kitchen.nnThis place is the exception. The food was excellent, actually tastes like they put some effort into both creating the menu and producing the food.nnSpicy calamari were quite the unique flavor.

The interiors are wonderful- upscale, rustic and comfortable all at the same time. The food is fresh and delicious- especially the prime rib.nThe wine and liquor menu is extensive and wonderful. I cannot wait for brunch... more to come!

Great spot to stay and dine as well. Be sure to get a river front room!nIf Charlie is your bartender/server you will have a delightful evening!nRecommend the soups and the charcuterie platter! Prime rib was ugh, not good at all...grass fed and its consistently my experience that animals that eat only grass produce meat that is very tough and not very flavorful..tasted like a Choice grade sirloin...very chewy and nothing like real Prime Rib. I ate 3 oz and brought rest home for my dog.nLovely craft cocktails..skip cheesecake.
