Benson's Tavern & Beer Garden

My family and I were in town for a mini vacation of snowboarding and we were in the mood for a burger. This place was the only place left open for the night so we decided to give it a try. When we got there they were at max capacity due to covid restrictions but ask if we want to eat on the patio outside with a large propane heater turned on for us. We agreed and the heater worked great for us. The best part was the cheese burgers they served us. They were the most juiciest and flavor burgers we ever had. Anyone who wants a great burger and great service please go to this place!

Stopped in for some lunch after a snowshoeing trip. While they were obviously understaffed, they made up for it with great drinks, delicious food, and a staff that will make you feel right at home as a local. If you're looking for a fine dining experience, this isn't it. But if you're looking for amazing food in a warm and engaging environment, this is the place! The woman who was was working as both the waitress and bartender (didn't catch her name) was the bomb.com and deserves a big raise.

Great local dive bar. The beer selection is decent. Good ambience for a mountain town tavern. I'll be back again for sure.

Awesome spot. Great gyro and Rueben. Service was awesome, moose head was sweet too. Outdoor patio is great during the summer. Definitely a fun spot to hit in Salida.
