Mercy Health - Clermont Hospital

If I could give negative stars, I would. This is definitely the worst hospital I have ever been too. I’ve been a patient (ER) several times, and have never left in less than 4 hours. My boyfriend came in today for a kidney infection. As soon as we are brought back to our room, they ask him for a urine sample. He does. 2 HOURS LATER... the urine cup is still sitting on a table in our room. Doc comes in, talks about what he wants to do (lab work), and even comments on how he can’t believe they haven’t taken the sample yet. Then he leaves (without sample)... half hour later, nurse finally comes in and takes sample. An hour after that; another nurse comes in and asks where the urine sample is?!!! So now.. even though we have already been waiting here for over 4hrs (for only blood work and urine sample!!!) we have to wait another 30-45 mins to get the test results back from the urine sample that had already been sitting in our room for hours! Worst. Hospital. Ever.

My husband tested positive with Covid. His 02 was in the 80s. We went to ER and they couldn't have been more attentive. They made sure he was taken care of and stable. They made sure he was set up the next day for antibodies infusion. He went home and went back so he didn't have to have to extreme cost of admission. He's fine now. They checked in him all the time Go Mercy!

I had in day out day surgery, the staff was very nice, professional, caring & with knowledge. I was not treated bad at all. So to the people crying & whining about this place they must have been looking for pain pills to get high off of. My doctor was excellent, the technicians explained everything to me & my husband. Tho I was groggy coming out of anesthesia my doctor stopped to let me know he would like to see me again, with follow ups. This Catholic hospital is the best around.

I was there for about 5 weeks in ICU and the place is Great . I had good service . Hats off to the Nurses and Doctors . They save my life with Covid . All I can say is Praise The Lord .

I almost died waiting for emergency medical care while sitting in the waiting room four hours. Once I actually got in to see a doctor I had to have emergency surgery in the ER because there was no time to get me to a surgical operating room. I got twelve local anesthetics and two wide bore IV's rather than general anesthetic because there wasn't enough time for the general anesthetic to take effect. They cut my abdomen open while I was still dressed in my own clothes, the door was opened by my parents who were horrified to see me cut open like a filleted fish when they arrived. The staff berrated me for not asking for help, forcing the emergency surgery in the ER. Apparently I was too polite to them, waiting quietly and patiently for my turn while reading a book in the waiting room I didn't appear to be in life threatening distress. I guess driving myself to the ER and waiting four hours for help without leaving wasn't enough of an indication that I needed to be there. I have a genetic life threatening illness that flares up and I know to get immediate help...so I did try to get help...then got yelled at for being polite and waiting my turn. I have since been denied all care twice-I got turned away at the front desk and told to go home. I now choose to go to a different Hospital that is three times further away from my home, at least I can walk in and get immediate care there.
