Red Jug Pub

I normally enjoy this bar, but after standing out in the cold for 45 mins respecting the policy to wait before you are seated. Then bouncer let in 4 groups of college kids just walk in past us without waiting. We asked for explanation and they were clear excuses to let friends in. You have now lost good paying local customers.

This place has turned into a joke. The management here is pointless just like the staff. It's ran by college kids that just don't care or just not good at their job. If you are going to just let in your friends and not other paying customers that's fine there are other bars in town.

The Pub is as good as ever! The service is top notch, stellar, even! The only thing was that I went on a night when there weren't many people there, which can both be a blessing and a curse ud83dudc81ud83cudffc‍♀ufe0f but if you're looking for a great time at a great bar in Oneonta, N.Y., go to the Red Jug Pub!

It was horrible service. I went out with my husband and friend. I watched as they were ignored and the female bartender only paid attention to 4 females and never once looked up to acknowledge any other person. There were at least 5 to six at the counter with helpers, and yet most were fixed on helping those who already had a drink in hand.nFinally a gap was about to appear and untold my friend to get ready to take it. He did and still was ignored until he said hey, when your done with them I would like to order. She took his order and left him in the middle of his order. It took forever for him to get his drinks, and as soon as a new younger female came, they were taken care of quickly and assertively.nnIt seemed the focus that night were for certain age females. I guess service during the summer is better during the fall. The atmosphere was more pleasant and diverse.

One of my favorite bars, try the tee-shirt special! 10 beers or 4 vodka lemonades and it comes with a tee-shirt! Good pricing too.
