Farmers Creekside Tavern & Inn

So normally I would give Farmer’s Creekside Inn a 5 out 5, but sorry guys, not this time. Our plans for Easter dinner at a family member’s house fell through on Easter Eve when they and down sick. In a scramble to come up with a plan B we were grateful to find that Farmer’s Creekside Inn, my favorite restaurant, was doing dinners to go. What was more awesome was that it allowed me to reserve a dinner for four for pick-up on Easter. Awesome, we were saved!!!!! Not so much. When I went to pick it up, my name was not on the list. At first we were told it shouldn’t be an issue because they had extras. Then I was told by somebody else, “Sorry, you would have had to order a week in advance. I can issue you a refund.” Seriously?!!!! I understand there can be glitches in the online ordering system but seriously?!!!! That’s it? That’s all you are going to say? I would have expected better customer service from a 5-star restaurant. Seriously disappointed.

Finding this place is the very definition of a happy accident! We were on our way home on a long trip and stumbled across the Tavern and Inn while passing through and looking for a place to stop that had food. A beautiful spot! Lovely rooms, delicious dinner (thank you Elyse for the beer recommendations!), wonderful folks and service. the breakfast bag was amazing too! Thank you!!

Rented an igloo for afternoon cocktails and appetizers. This was great! Super warm inside with heaters and a tv. Good food and drinks. Really unique experience. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay! The food was great, staff was very friendly, and the inn was beautiful! Can’t wait to go again someday! We rented an igloo for the Valentine’s Day menu. Food was delicious and the igloo provided a very intimate and romantic atmosphere!

Such a lovely setting! Perfect place for a relaxing lunch with friends we have not seen in a long time. ud83dude0d
