Make sure you have the right size or they won't take any returns and force you to make an exchange. I was told the shoes my 2 year old out on once, was marked. They couldn't return it, but I could make an exchange.... So wait. Let me get this straight. You'll still take the shoes back, and because you say it's marked, which was honestly a speck of dirt that could be wiped away with a moist towel. Ridiculous. I would have wiped the speck if could do a return. The small fat lady didn't care. I think she's the manager.
