Italian Prime at Salvatore's

This was mine and my boyfriends first time at Salvatore's and it was quite pleasant. Whoever the gentleman was that was playing saxophone deserves a raise because he kept us quite entertained all night. Our waiter Ken was very nice, funny and always came to check on us when he could. Our buss girl was also very sweet and was quick to clear dishes and fill our waters. The only problem was the food wait. Our reservation was at 7:15pm and we didn't leave till after 10. I didn't really mind and understood that it was a busy night due to Valentines Day weekend so I would definitely come back here again!!

We had reservations for 730pm. We sat ordered drinks and ordered our food. After 2 hours at 930pm we were informed that 1 of the meals we ordered was not available. To make matters worse after our dinner was served one of our meals was less then desirable and our server avoided us the remainder of our time. 3hours total time spent at this restaurant. We will not be back.nnOwner Messaged and has attempted to rectify.nWill update again after our next dinner.

The best part of our three hour meal, was the appetizers.nIt was down hill from there.nOne of the drinks was wrong (water instead of soda). Strike 1nOne of the salads was wrong (Cesar mixed in, not on the side as requested). Strike 2nAll meals were warm at best. Strike 3nTime between salads and entries, 45 minutes. Strike 4nSteaks served on a wood board, bad idea.nCheck, received at 9:15 PM, from a 6:15 reservation, was not our check. Strike 5nWill not be returning, considering the WNY options.

Waiter was horrible. food was great. Waiter Assistants were attentive. We were left sitting for about a half hour watching everyone get served bread tray with tapanade and butter. The second they sat down. We received none . We ordered our appetizers and salad before meal we waited finally appetizers came and as soon as we were done the main course came. No salads. But salads were on the bill. Just felt very neglected.

Had an amazing time, the host and Server were great! First time there and the food was outstanding. I had the full rack of lamb which was very good! If your trying to get out for a date night and good energy I would go there !
