We have been customers of The Local Butcher since they first opened their doors and continue every year. From the owners (Russ & Kristi) on down, the entire staff is professional, easy to deal with and unrelenting when it comes to quality, products and service. We have used 3 other USDA plants in New England over the years and none, bar none, meet the standards of The Local Butcher. I could go into so many details I could write a novella. So I will end with I am proud to know and be a customer of the Local Butcher! Ps. Our customers love their packaging and cut list options.

Worst butcher I've ever been to very bad reviews highly recommend looking for a new butcher !
They have a good reputation but my order was processed with a few mistakes. When an additional problem came to light several months later, my attempt to discuss it with them was met with circular defensiveness. I wasn't really asking for anything, just wanted them to know about the problem. Unfortunately, I was met with unnecessary attitude that was slightly accusatory and very defensive and clear that they wouldn't refund anything. A million dollars wouldn't console the insult.
