CMC Urgent Care

Efficient thorough and caring staff. Unfortunately I have had to visit several times this year but fortunate they are here. Each time I was highly satisfied with my care. And as a nurse I can be quite critical if things are not right.

Today is day 6 of my Covid test with still no results. If you are one of the lucky ones to be placed on hold, you get to listen to how fast, professional, quality care they provide at their Urgent Care Facilities! After being told 2-4 days results turned into 5-6 days results, I get another excuse... Pathetic!

They got me in and out quickly for civid testing and were nice

Horrible experience yesterday. I was told to go there by my PCP for a Covid test. Called when I got in the parking lot, and told them my situation. Was told I was all checked in and that it may take about 30 minutes because they seemed to get a “rush.” After about 40 mins I called back to check status - was told there were 3 people ahead of me checked in. Waited another 35 mins, called again.. supposedly I was next in “line.” Another 20 mins goes by and no call. At this point it’s been over 90 mins (I am 6 months pregnant and there is no waiting for this bladder) and I have to use the restroom! So I called again and they said someone would meet me to use the restroom (thank god)! Then they bring me to a room, nurse comes in and DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WHY I WAS THERE AND THAT I WANTED COVID TEST!! She claims “oh I should have been suited up for this..” ok, so I get the test and she disappears for at least 10 minutes, no one says anything to me. I am beyond flustered and anxious with this whole thing. Then finally a different person comes in with mask and face shield and gown, listens to my lungs and heart and tells me results in 24-48 hours. And that was it! No one ever took my temperature or had any special precautions it seemed to me.nEveryone was very nice to deal with but the waiting and the unorganized communication had me beside myself. Will not be going back here for any reason.

This place is the best choice for most trips to the emergency room or Elliot at River's Edge which is the same type of urgent care with faster wait times opposed to the actual emergency rooms which should only he gone to first if it is serious as in requiring an overnight stay. Also both of the urgent care places will transport you to the emergency room equivalent if they think it is necessary so you will be in good hands regardless and it helps the emergency rooms with being overcrowded....so better care for all! I've used both urgent care centers and they are equally competent and most always you will be out of there in a timely manner and hopefully a bit more comfortable!
