Overall we are pretty happy with the hog processing we had done. My only complaint is the sausage packages are sloppily and loosely bagged. ONe thing we are very happy with is the bacon, it tastes great! Perfect amount of smoke and not too salty.

I wish there was a negative star option available...2 packages of hamburger and I found numerous grisel pieces and some sort of vessel or large piece of connective tissue. Overly greasy as well.nCooked up a roast only to find a piece of shaved bone in my first bite. Picture of bone piece included!nSpoke to the owner, he mainly blamed the actual beef as being the issue when it came to the hamburger when it clearly is a processing issue. Owner advised that occasionally a piece of bone could be shave off and end up in the roast. He wasn't sure what I wanted him to do about it, but did offer to have me bring in a package for him to look at....with his attitude about it and the long drive there, I'm not going to bother but wanted to warn others!nSo now I'm stuck with 1/4 beef I can't even stomach to use after 3 out of the 3 packages I tried were full of grisel, grease and/or a bone chip!nSave yourself the trouble and find another locker!!!
