To be frank this bank is absolutely horrible at communicating. I was forced into having my loan be from them and when i went to make an account was told that anything other then cash had a added fee. Or i could set up a auto payment with my bank. So i go in to set up the auto payment hoping to pay part of my bill with cash and the rest with my account. Cant do that either then i learn you cant pay with your account but the first payment has to be cash or a card if you go in, which they specifically said before had a fee. Basically they make it way to complicated and no one tells you the same thing. This bank needs to come into the 21st century and redo everything cause holy F this is annoying. Fun update, now that auto is set up i have learned that they somehow manage to completely mess that up as well. Taking the money from a different account then i said as well as the wrong date. I told them on the 12th they set it up for the 2ed. Good fing job

I have been with American National Bank for 5 years and they closed my account after 60 days due to no pay roll going into the account. They didn't even send out anything stating this. I took a 90 maturity leave and didn't receive a check in this time. Now I received my first check, which was needed, and it had no bank account to deposit it into. Now I am stuck waiting on a paper check for up to three weeks. Thank you American National Bank for making 2020 even better.

This is the worst bank I've ever seen in my entire life. My mother is 72 year old has Parkinson's and dementia. She is in in a very vulnerable and weak-minded position. She gets Social Security and a VA benefit and was taken advantage of by American National Bank when they refuse to release her VA funds because of a debt she has with them. She is on a fixed income and needs that money to survive but they evidently don't care and don't want to work with her being in the state of mind that she's in. I realize that she has a debt with them that needs to be paid but instead of working with her they took her VA funds and possibly next month's VA funds instead of trying to work with her. I would not recommend them to any single one of my friends or family at this point in time. Take my advice be aware stay clear.

I have been with American National for 8 years and they have been amazing. Luanne & Pat know me by name, they have my account info written down before I even get to the counter. Customer service is important to me and those two are the epitome of what customer service means. They know my kids, they know how old my daughter is bc they remember seeing my pregnant belly from 3 yrs ago. They always ask about them and always greet us with a warm smile. I cannot say enough about this place. They are spectacular.
