Like to hire newbies vs experienced staff to save $. Keep that in mind when scheduling your surgery.

Doctors have poor bedside manner here Dr Davies likes to rush you through everything

I really like Dr.Goldschmidt and certainly would like him to do my hand surgery. Unfortunately, the lakewalk surgical center I personally would not give one star if it were possible! Dr. Goldschmidt assured me that because I don’t have a ride to get there and need to set up cab service the center would work with me....NOT! I told them several times that Dr. Goldschmidt said they would work with me. So I set up a ride and someone to come with to sign me out and they changed my time. I left the doctors scheduler and the lakewalk center a message to please call me right away in the morning. Of course neither one bothers to call. I got everything set up again and just let it go, then at the end of the day they left me a message my time had changed from 12:45 to 8:30 a.m. I was fuming and said they need to have someone else come at that time because I had just re-set my time and reminded them of what Dr.Goldschmidt had said. Well, although they would have known not to change my time AGAIN if they had bothered to call, they were not going to call all those people and change everything around. In fact, all they had to do was call the person they gave my spot to and tell them to be there at 8:30 a.m. as they did me.nNot what I call working with me in my book, so while I really, really wanted Dr. Goldschmidt to do the surgery I guess I will probably look elsewhere

This is a top notch facility with real pro's who take care of you and make sure you feel safe. They are accommodating, and very very good at what they do so much so that between when your surgery actually starts and ends is extremely fast; even for major surgery (example, total joint replacement).
