It's not as great as the hype I saw in internet. It's not bad...
Yes, the name is a mouthful, and yes, the food was great, and the atmosphere was charming.nnCertainly not a standard greasy spoon diner - you’ll pay a bit more here, but you’ll also get more, both in terms of portion size and quality.nnFor example, the tray of fries on the apps menu was on the expensive side for “just fries”, but they were flavored with garlic, cheese, and truffle oil, served with house-made dips and were themselves made completely in-house. Well worth it, in my eyes.nnThe “cup” of soup was only generously described as a cup - most restaurants would have called it a bowl at this size. I dread to think what size the bowl of soup is here - perhaps they’ll bring you a small canoe?
If I could give 10/10 I would. First the service was great and welcoming. They are following COVID protocols well to ensure the safety of staff and patrons. Second, the food is outstanding. The flavor and fresh ingredients were impeccable. The food was made with love! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We will be back again!
Great food. A little expensive for my budget, but eating is more expensive.
This place! The outdoor views of Lake Superior, the great farm to table menu, the kids lunch boxes (sorry can’t remember the actual name), and the food! Everything was great tasting, wholesome and hearty. Very happy we stopped in here to grab a bite while we were in Duluth.
