I have been in Duluth perhaps 100 times over the years and never stopped at Lake Avenue Restaurant and Barb right down by Lake Superior. My flight was early and hotel wasn't ready yet. Hit directions to the first restaurant that popped up. Very glad that I did! Sean, my Server, was fantastic to not just me but to everyone. He suggested the Roasted Lamb Omelet with Ranchero sauce and Scallions. Not a huge fan of lamb but will definitely return, perhaps tomorrow. It was a tremendous recommendation. Thank you, Sean. I am literally writing this as I sit here finishing my delicious mug of coffee. Was going to purchase a mug but could not see spending $30.00 when that was much more than my entire meal. Great mugs, though, and would love to have one.nHere is a photo of my meal today, April 9, 2021 and I highly recommend Lake Avenue.

Absolutely amazing all around. Service was top notch ud83dudc4c. Food, amazing, sorry no pictures, it went so quickly. ud83dude1c But again great all around. Slightly more expensive than the usual place, but totally worth it ud83dudcaf

As a foodie and server from the cities, I can say without hesitation this is my favorite restaurant. The service and overall experience of Lake Ave has been fantastic every time. I am plant based and my husband a hard core carnivore and we are both 100% delighted and satisfied with Lake Ave. The vibe is sophisticated and cozy. The menu is exciting, with items globally inspired and suitable for everyone. I will have a hard time eating everywhere else when I’m in Duluth.

Very good restaurant, good vibe. Price is a little on the expensive side but the food is good. The picture is the dumplings, which is what you should get. The location is good with free parking. Quiet dinning environment. Recommend. Although the staff can probably work on improving the speed, both on presenting food and the tab.

The view is great! The service was excellent. The food was awesome. Some of the best lobster I've ever had. Service was quick and all of the staff was nice. Great atmosphere, I felt like I was on vacation.
