Went on a 4 man sleeper house expedition 20 miles out on the ice. Caught fish and had a great time. Temps 30 below zero were no match for the heater in the shack, we were warm and toasty. Guides kept us stocked on what resort provides. The base camp they have is a real upgrade over years past. They even have showers there, if you are inclined to take one, if you want a break from your stench. Fishing was steady enough that none of us wasted time hitting the showers! I can't wait to get back!
I've been up here a few times in the summer charter fishing with my dad and brother, and brought up a few buddies for some ice fishing! Unfortunately with COVID shut downs, we could get the full experience. However, everyone I brought up had a great time and would like to go back! Very friendly staff, great food from the kitchen, accommodating help with travel and set up on the ice, warm, spacious ice houses and cabins. Can't wait until August to go back up charter fishing, and to give Foxy a hard time! (All in good fun)
Older fish house, not in great shape. Asked for an electrical extention, and never got one. All in all everyone we spoke with was very nice. They met us at the fish house and had a container of dishes available for us to use.
We had reservations at another location that the other place messed up. We drove over to Boarder View and told them are issue.nBoarderview went above and beyond to accommodate us.nThe cabin we stayed in was awesome and well equipped.nI highly recommend them
Great Staff and Facilities!!nnBeen going to Arneson's the last 5 years. We felt like they had plenty of business and didn't really want our business or treated us as guests.n1st Time at Border View and all the guy's in our group Really Enjoyed the Experience!nWell be back next Year!!nThanks For A Great Time Everyone at Border View!!
