The food at the restaurant was some of the best food I've ever had, and my group of five tried just about everything on the menu. Highly recommend the wings. Cabin was clean and spacious. Nick was a great guide with the perfect personality for the job. Fish was slow, but nothing you can do about that. I've never been ice fishing before, but I am sold on Ballard's. We will definitely be returning next, and it will be with a few more people. Big thanks to all the staff!

We have gone ice fishing at Ballards each your for the past 20+ years. Each year the staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. The accommodations are always clean, well maintained and kept up nicely during our visits. The ice fishing guides are always prompt, friendly and helpful. They do everything they can to put you on fish including offers to move to different houses if you wish. The food is fantastic with great service at the restaurant. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive.nIn all the years we have gone there, we have always had great experiences and made great memories.

Facilities were nice, excellent food, fishing was ok, Andy & Brian were great guys, fun ride out to the fishing shack!! YeeHaa!!! Everyone making sure our stay was fantastic! Shane making sure everything ran smoothly...Great memories, can't wait to return!! Thanks for the free coffee!! Very satisfied couple here!!

Was there last weekend for True north fishing event. Had nice cabins w 3bedrooms, bath & kitchen. Bombardier was cool experience. Bathroom on the ice was cold (no heater) and basically had a pail w a garbage bag. Asked our guide several times to move so we could have better luck fishing and he was very reluctant. Didn't give us any tips or pointers on fishing, even when asked. Never told us that they wouldn't fry our fish the first night so we kept everything, then could only catch a few fish the 2nd day. Service was ok... had better elsewhere.

I had a spectacular time at Ballards resort. Everywhere from the food to fishing was top notch. The rustic fishing net decor combined with the ambient lighting creates a feeling you won’t soon forget. The cherry on top was the customer Service. Excellent customer service from the bartenders, servers and management. 12/10 recommend visiting Ballards resort.
