I needed some work done on my Birkenstocks and found Michelangelo’s online. What a find! My shoes were fixed better than new! And! I was given the tour of the shop and well as being shown their custom made Birkenstocks. If you need special comfort shoes, and some special treatment, this is your place.

The owner is not the friendliest guy in the world. That's for sure. After I tried a pair of shoes and decided not to buy them, he looked annoyed and threw the shoes back on the shelf with anger. O well, sorry dude for not making your day. You didn't make mine as well, especially with your questionable attitude.

Michelangelo customized Birkenstock inserts for a pair of discontinued sandals and went on to make four pairs of customized Birkenstock inserts which I wear in various types of shoes and boots. This was more than five years ago and I still use them every day. Because of Michelangelo, I can walk and hike in comfort.nnI don’t believe for a second the two negative reviews I read. Michelangelo goes above and beyond to help the people who walk into his store. I have seen him help people locate what they need elsewhere when he can’t help them.nnAs I said to him: Michelangelo is an artist AND an angel.
