I very rarely write a review for anything online. However, my experience with Pete’s RV was so awful I feel the need to share it. It is the most disorganized company I have ever worked with, not to mention most of the staff is rude and dismissive of customers. I waited days for a call back I was told would come right away on multiple occasions. They “lost” my wire transfer of funds. Then they called me to ask where the title was to my trade in was, I sent it to them upon their directions and they had signed for it. That’s just a few examples, there are more! I would strongly advise anyone to NOT use this company. It will be a lesson in frustration only.
I need to be clear with this review. If there was a way to break it out into two sections, I would.nnThe sale part: Andrew Vaughan was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Andy followed up, and as a result of his help, we purchased a brand new Keystone Outback Ultra-lite.nnAfter the sale: Well, it went downhill from there. The pickup and pre- delivery walk through was a complete and total joke. The guy who schedules this (Joe) is the same guy who actually performs this. We came in to pick up the rig, expecting a thorough walk through and review...... it was useless. I expected water hooked up, systems verified, but nothing like that. When I asked about it, I was told that “of course we checked everything”.... like I was bothering him.nnI don’t know what they actually checked, but: my TV/DVD player didn’t work. I checked, and found the AV cables weren’t even hooked up (so how the hell did they check it?). The awning lights kept blowing fuses (I found the issue/non-watertight wire cap, upside down so water pooled up in it. I repositioned and no issue since). When I called, the service manager was horrible too. I never got his name, but all he did was defend this BS. He tried to tell me that his best guy did the pre-delivery on my camper (before I even gave him my name, so how did he know who did my camper’s inspection without even knowing my name?). Also, when I pressurized my water system at home, there was still pink anti-freeze at the outside shower..... pretty clear that minimal work was done.nnI left my name and number for the general manger.... but no call back yet (3 weeks later).nnSo- Pete’s was great to buy from, and Andy was the best........ but after that, good luck.
Great service. We were on our first trip with our travel trailer and young kids and could not get the weight distribution hitch bars to fit as it was way off after being installed at the original dealership. We stopped on our way out and the service representative Joe immediately had his service team look at it and fixed it on the spot as it was not safe to drive that way. Greg was able to fix it within the hour and the service manager Glen helped us with swapping the parts we had for the ones we needed. It was a great experience and made for a safe first trip despite the poor original installation at a different location.
Buyer be ware! Great selection of products. The experience in VT versus Raynham was night and day. This was our second RV and the whole process from purchase to delivery was stressful. No one quality checked the rv or took the time to answer our questions after delivery. I have reached out multiple ways and find no one interested in customer care.
The service at Pete’s was unmatched! They took great care of me when I brought my Motorhome to them to have a towing package installed. Not only did they do a Fantastic job they actually upgraded my equipment when it turned out that I didn’t need certain parts. If you’re in that area don’t hesitate to go to them for service. Just a little bummed that they don’t work on class A’s . Great group of guys!nnDominic Diauto
