Mary Sipes, DPM, FACFAS

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Sipes since December 2018. I am very sad to say that I will no longer be bringing her here and now have an appointment set up to meet with Dr. Fleischli to continue her foot care. I had a terrible experience with Nurse Brooke. She has a very unfriendly, demanding demeanor that unfortunately makes us very uncomfortable. Dr. Sipes had a previous nurse I believe her name was Emily or Hayley, who was always so outgoing and sweet, and very prompt to our needs (which are never anything more than what we are visiting for.) At a previous visit I had asked about the previous nurse (whose name I do not recall) and instead of just say “unfortunately she is no longer with us”, I was given a very unprofessional spiel of a series of events of nothing but trash talk on this young girl. My mother is a few years shy of 90 years old, therefore she’s not as mobile as she used to be, and she moves slower than most. When moving her from her wheelchair to the exam chair last visit, Brooke was very pushy, very rude, and just showed no compassion at all. All in all, the care has just gone downhill. Dr. Sipes’ nurse is always uninterested in her job, and I even had to ask to get my mother’s blood pressure taken. That is something the girl beforehand always did right off the bat, and without giving us grief like it was a chore. I called to talk to a supervisor and was placed on hold for over 15 minutes. I am very sad to write this review because most of my doctors, as well as my mother’s doctors are within Springfield Clinic, but this is unacceptable.
