When I lived in the quad cities, food and service were always top notch. Fast forward 21 years later. My business partner and I stopped in after a day trip to Chicago for dinner. Food is still awesome, and the service is spectacular! This is my favorite wing joint anywhere I have ever been! Love this place.
Popular restaurant with packed house on a Saturday night. I waited a minimal amount of time for a table. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the onion rings for an appetizer, and they were by far the best I've ever had. The dipping sauce was sweetly tangy with nice heat behind it. I ordered the breaded tenderloin sandwich. It was as big as a plate, with a bun equally as large to go with it. It comes with lettuce tomato and onions, along with mayo that you can put on it. I had french fries and coleslaw for sides. The sandwich was spectacular, and much more than I could possibly eat in one sitting. The french fries were crunchy on the outside nice and tender on the inside, and the coleslaw had a sweet tanginess to it. Overall, it was a wonderful meal and I went home with more food than I ate. The prices are good and the service is wonderful.
Extremely slow food service on a Friday lunch. Took 45 minutes to receive simple lunch. Waitress was nice. She said carryout orders take priority. Definitely not the place to go if in a hurry.
The decor is perfect for any fan of antiques, petroliana, or old advertising! My bacon cheeseburger was juicy. Not dry. The fries were crispy and not greasy. And the coleslaw was creamy. Not tasting like vinegar. A large menu with so much to select from. All of it is good! I didn't have to wait long for my food to arrive.
Food here is always amazing. The speed of service here is their biggest down fall with it taking them a long time to get food out. Atmosphere is very nice and their special drink menu is excellent.
