Talk about great selection!!!! The atmosphere is great and the steak is even better! I couldn’t choose beer or wine so I ended up having a flight of both and enjoyed them both equally as well!nnThe food that we had was amazing! We tried two different crostini’s and my husband had yet to so talking about them both! It’s a small area, so get there early to get a seat, you’ll be happy you did!
This place is pretty fantastic. Whether you are there for their extensive tap selection, wine selection, or tapas style food, you will not be disappointed. On this particular visit, I was there to pick up a six pack of an eclectic beer, and Stem and Stein was the only local establishment to have it in stock. Ali and Jess never disappoint and always seem to have those rate gems in stock. Stem and Stein is one of the best places to go to eat and drink in Madison!

Cool laid-back atmospher. A North Eastern vibe with a Southern charm
Ali and Jess are the heart and soul of this place (respectively ;-)). They take care of us every time we are in here and and have an outstanding selection of wines and beers at competitive prices. My only complain is they are too close to my house!
