If you're headed there for a meal, I will say it seems like it usually takes a little on the long side to get those out. The Curious George sandwich and Tomato Apple Soup are good. I can't recall a specific reason why I liked those two things but I do remember them being good but again, what I'm writing home about is the post meal sweets - HUGE, decadent slices of heavenly cake and cheesecake. Yum!!!

Super amazing food and staff. They literally brought us in out of the rain right as they were closing so that we could eat. The food is SO good and we will absolutely come again when we are in town!

The only TRUE Mediterranean restaurant in the area, owned by immigrants from Jerusalem. The lamb is fantastic (always), the drink selection is awesome, and the location is downtown. A modest sign outside advertises, and up a steep flight of stairs to some of the best ethnic food in the region. You’ll fee like you’re in “the old country” when dining out here. Cannot recommend highly enough, one of the best dining experiences in Columbus GA.

I love this spot. My Father is middle eastern & recommended Mario’s when I told him I was seeking good lamb in this area. Without a doubt, Mario’s serves the best lamb in town. The decor makes it a relaxing environment. My daughter & I enjoy the pool table as well after dinner. I always love a family owned business. The waitress is very kind & knowledgeable on all the dishes they serve. This is definitely a diverse spot. You can take clients here for lunch or dinner, take a date, go with family or enjoy the environment in your solitude.

Had the moussaka yesterday, one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. My daughters had the chicken mushroom which they loved and my gyro was delicious. Our server was attentive, very friendly, and professional. The owner came out and spoke with us, made the visit even better. It's roomy! The dining room is arranged with space between tables. The atmosphere is calm, not loud and annoying. Yes some interior decor updating wouldn't hurt but the food is wonderful. I personally don't care for downtown, there's too much noise and commotion in such a closed crunched in space but I will deal with it to eat here.
