The worst experience ever. Have visited this brunch 3 times, and all 3 times had issues.nThe first time went there the manager of the bank was a maniac sexist, racist.nThen other times staff never looks you in the eye, they speak among them in their native language while serving at you and laughing at your face. Always go at Quincy branch..staff great..mng top level.nnpersonnel

I'm a Santander Bank customer for many years. This bank as a whole isn't so bad it's actually better than some other banks that I dealt with before. I've been to about 4 different branch of this bank and this one at 20 Beale St Wollaston MA by far is the worst. This one star rating is for this older guy who works there in his 60s seems like he's the branch manager I'm not 100% sure, but if you ever been to this place you will know who I'm talking about and please do yourself a favor just avoid him and wait for someone else to help you.

Do not use this bank. They have signs about respect decorating their branches, but the signs are only for show. I have used Santander for close to ten years. I have never been treated so terribly in a bank before.nnI asked Customer Service if they could replace my card. The old one had expired and the representative acted like I was burdening them. (I thought that’s why you sit behind a desk that says, “Customer Service,” because you serve customers. Isn’t that why you are paid? If I could have done that at home, I wouldn’t have burdened you for five minutes of your time.)nnAdditionally, during the same visit, I was told that my account was deactivated and treated as if it was entirely my fault. This is an administrating error. How could that possibly be entirely my fault? (My account wasn’t closed or deactivated, this is something they just haphazardly decided to tell me. Maybe it’s their way of showing “respect.”) Again, if I could’ve done this all from home, I wouldn’t have bothered your Customer Service rep. Apparently they’re too busy curing cancer.nnAlso, during the same visit, I asked if they could activate the newer card that I received two years earlier (I never activated my card since they never sent me a password). And again, I was treated as if that was entirely my fault.nnDuring this visit, the representative stated that I should not have had the newer card to begin with. Again I was treated like I did something wrong. It was quickly taken away and I was told, “Oh, you shouldn’t have this one.” (But, everyone has the newer card with the chip.)nnLastly, before leaving, I tried to withdraw money from my account, from a teller, and they wanted two forms of ID since I didn’t have my card. They had just taken my card and all of a sudden treated me like a stranger trying to commit fraud. The teller refused to accept, or acknowledge that my two bank cards were just taken (one of which could have been activated), which again, was treated as my fault. “Since you don’t have a card, you need two forms of ID.” “But you just took both of my cards, you know who I am, and you have my ID.” The customer service desk is only five or ten feet away from the teller.nnIs this really what respect looks like? (You should really remove those signs.) And is this really the way you treat people who trust you with their money?nnI deliberately wrote this review in a particular way because I understand that the people reading this may possibly read, write, and speak English as a second language. And, I teach English at an international school, so I understand the importance respecting foreign cultures and races. (Plus, my patents raised me better than that.)nnI do not recommend this bank. They will treat you with a repulsive amount of disrespect.
