Everything about our night here was amazing. It was our first time visiting Lubbock but definitely not our last, especially now that we’ve found this gem of a restaurant! Nick was the highlight of the night and truly made it a memorable experience. The recommendations he made were perfect for us (smooth criminal cocktail and Cajun chicken pasta are highly recommended ). He made us feel so welcome...like long lost friends. I couldn’t help but hug him when we left! The live band was incredible and we really enjoyed the old school music. We cannot wait to come back!!♥ufe0f

One of favorites!! Have had some excellent meals at The Funky Door. The brunch is my favorite, well, so is the fondue...well, and so are the drinks. Just know you can't go wrong when selecting this higher end restaurant.The food is superb, as is the service. Love the feel of the place, which manages to make you feel luxurious and yet relaxed and welcomed all at the same time. Which must resonate down from the owners, who are extremely down to Earth, honest, good people, who know their stuff when it comes to good food and good wine! Which makes it easy to support this enjoyable local eatery. I highly recommend The Funky Door!

Came here on a date with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was excellent (definitely try the Cajun chicken pasta), the live music was great and Nick, our server, was truly the best. He went out of his way to make our night special. Thank you, Nick and The Funky Door for a very memorable night. We will be back soon!!

As a person who travels every week. BEHIND THIS Funky Door is incredible. If you live in or travel through Lubbock TX and have any taste for the special and rememberable... Your must treat yourself. I rate many places. 5 stars are not from a rookie.. simply delightful and delivered a great bat experience...

Went last night for an anniversary and it was amazing. The food was delicious and 100% worth the price! Our waitress, K’lynn was phenomenal, very attentive, and super fast!!! She answered all the questions we had and was extremely helpful with guiding us on drinks! Excellent experience and we both were very happy from start to finish!!
