SMG Chestnut Green Family Medicine

Funny part is it has nothing to do with the practice itself it’s the receptionist Elaine! My son and I are former patients of Dr. Hedde. After he left the practice we left as well. I requested our medical records be sent to the new physician and I was told I had to fill it out in person at the office. So I rushed out of work to make it there before 5 o’clock, barely made it it was greeted by nothing but attitude. She told me to fill it out and come back another day since it was almost 5 I refused and filled it out anyways.. weeks later I still haven’t gotten the medical records sent to the new physician and I find out they’re holding my medical records hostage until I pay them like the mafia! Finally all the paperwork gets processed two weeks later and SMG does not send a full immunization so they cannot give me an appointment at the new doctors office til they have it. So I call back SMG and talk to guess who? Elaine again! Instantly greeted with an attitude just like last time and I let her know right of the bat I didn’t appreciate her attitude! Which she responded “I don’t have an attitude”! After going through my records she tells me they don’t have my son’s full immunization.. To that I asked how they have given him shots previously if you have no idea what his previous medical history was before he went to smg?? After silence for a second she apparently got annoyed with the speaker phone in my work truck because you know who wants to drive legally right?? She told me “stop being distracted by background things and to pay more attention to my son’s medical records” to that I responded “I’m just trying to legally drive on the road while talking to you, I apologize for that ma’am”. I’d had enough of her at that point so I ended the conversation. Sound like something you wanna deal with when you call your doctors office??
