There was a 20 minute wait so we were given free drinks

I had a similar experience to Ryan, as posted a few weeks ago.nWe came after church with a group of 13. We noticed the sign that requests groups larger than 8 having a reservation. We asked if we could make a reservation for later, but we’re told reservations must be made a day ahead.nSo we asked if we could split into 2 groups and sit outdoors. We were told that they already know we came in as a large group, so they would not serve us.nnSo, in response to the owner telling Ryan that they do not turn anyone away, that is a flat out lie and the owner absolutely knows it. I don’t want to hear their complaining about COVID, WE tried to accommodate THEM, how backwards is that?!nnDuring this time, there were only 6 customers in the restaurant, and they were sitting outside. There were PLENTY of ways they could accommodate us in line with CDC recommendations.

This restaurant has delivered quality food and service consistently for our family! If you treat the owners and staff with respect you’ll get it back in return. Yesterday we ordered food from here and even though they were short staffed, we still got our food and it was just as good as before. Thank you for being open and able to provide us with warm a meal!

Poorly Run - Big DisappointmentnStopped in for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon and was excited to try this place out. Moving to the area and had high hopes. Great country vibe with a nice patio and menu looked great. There were easily less than 50 people there about 2 pm. We quickly realized they were understaffed with only 2 waitresses. Our waitress was running from table to table and never stuck around long enough to ask if we needed refills on drinks much less anything else. I ordered a beer and never received a salted rim glass which I asked for 3 times. We literally had to yell out loud to ask for silverware and napkins when food came because we couldn’t get anyone’s attention for several minutes. Lady manager/owner stood at bar, didn’t seem too busy or interested and never came out to great guests, ask if anyone needed anything or pitch in when it was obvious staff couldn’t keep up. She was strangely non-responsive. I do not recommend.

Genuinely worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. We walked in and the gentleman asked how man.. 8, he said I have to ask my manager. He comes back and says we can sit you but we can’t get you food for 30-40 minutes, off out and confused as he didn’t even know we were just wanting drinks an appetizer initially. We went with it. We sat and got drinks, never given a menu. We saw a large one on the floor and put it standing up so the 8 of us could read it. We ordered appetizers and they were average. We got our food and most of it was wrong. One person ordered a burger with grilled onion, only a $1 so when the food came without she just told the waitress to remove it. The waitress instead charged her card and gave her a $1 bill. We also ordered a second round of beers, they didn’t have tap and offered bottles which was fine except we never got them. We also went the whole meal and everyone was out of drinks and not once did anyone ask if the food was okay until the checks were brought. Small town but normally that gets you exceptional service. Not in this case!
