My friend and I heard the rave reviews about J. Theodore and Bar and we had to make a visit for a nightcap after dinner. WOW! Amazing ambiance in the restaurant and delicious drinks with very hospitable and friendly service. We will definitely return for their jazz nights in the spring/summertime. Can't wait to return for brunch soon but I highly recommend for first time guests. Great spot!!!! ⭐ud83dudc4dud83cudffe

UPDATE 12/2/20 ... met abuddy at J Theodore’s, but inside the bar area, which is separate, one of the best whiskey collections around, totally impressed love it.nI recently went back, new owners, great people, The food is much better under these new owners. they are establishing themselves and I see a great future. They have the best bourbon selection in the area by far.nMy review of 2016 — Looks like the place has a loyal following. The restaurant is OK, nothing special, it’s just not my kind of place. Because many people seem to go it obviously has a lot of people that love it I just happen to be one that does not. One positive the desserts are great.

I have now been here twice for brunch and dinner, and it has been excellent both times! The servers are very friendly and accommodating, the food menu has something for everyone, and the drink selection is great as well! On the weekends they have music and it creates such a great vibe. Definitely my new go to since it's so close by!

Food and patio is the best! Love the weekend brunch menu and servers are super friendly!nOnly problem is music by DJ is LOUD.nGuests cannot hear one another. We requested manager to turn down music, he was very unfriendly and made us feel like we were imposing on him.

Best bread ever. Very moist and comes out super warm and delicious. Also, it taste like herbs.I love the ratio of crunchy crust to spongey bread. Thank you for making my whole year. Best bread ever.
