This is an office that cares more about putting dollars in their pocket than the health and wellbeing of their patients during a pandemic. Not impressed with my recents experiences dealing with several individuals at this office from referral associates to nurses. Inconsistent responses from every person you speak to about an issue. Apparently nobody actually knows the policies but they ignore you when you complain or question the “policies” that nobody can recite the same.

I've had positive experiences both in coming to office (pre-COVID) and telemedicine visits which resulted in being referred to a dermatology via telemedicine as well (my choice due to pandemic). The care is thorough and the staff is very accommodating. The patient gateway makes it easier to have virtual visits and discuss with your doctor if you have inquiries. I think your PCP is your greatest advocate along with yourself and if someone falters - the care does as well. Good luck!

Most of the staff is decent in person but the general attitude towards patients could use some work. My issue is more with Brigham and Women’s in general rather than the Westwood office. I tried to get an estimate of costs for my upcoming appointment which the website says they are required to provide (if requested) by law. The billing team told me they could only provide this if I had a procedure number. I was told they had no way of looking this number up for me based on my account information and I would have to contact the location that I had the appointment with. Once I called the Westwood location I probably spoke to 6 different people each one responding “I don’t know what that is, let me transfer you to ...”. Finally someone looked into it and got me an answer. I would assume a hand x-ray would be enough information for a cost estimate but clearly they wanted to make this as difficult as possible while still being able to claim they provide it to patients.

Very poor service. I called to get an appointment, put on hold for a long time then someone would transfer me to some other department. It was very frustrating experience. Eventually gave up. Not recommend this place to anyone.
