Our family experienced an incredibly frustrating hospital stay. Zero communication and very little respect. The PRN staff was great; the full time staff is poor at best. Their policies change day to day - good luck finding any consistency there.

Don't walk but run from this location. What a disaster. This is the mos t unorganized place I have everr seen. No one can assist if there is a problem because know one knows!!!. My husband was to have surgery at 7:30 with arrival time at 5:30. His time was confirmed by 3 different people. So after getting up at 3 and arriving a little early and after a 1 and a half hour wait, we were told surgery is not scheduled until 12:45. No one could explain this. So run quickly and go somewhere else so you don't have to deal with this frustration.nNEVER AGAIN!!!!

This wing of the hospital is golden when it comes to treating new mother's or women in general. However I am a man. A father who was there with his wife for our first son birth and I can't tell you how little they care for dads. They don't feed the dad, the dad can not sign for consent regardless of what the wife says nor if the he's the husband and father, and they really don't incorporate us in anything. The treated my wife like the queen and that's perfectly fine with me but I think they need to make better decisions when it comes to dealing with fathers. I was considered a guest to see my own son. But they did a great job (the staff) I know the rules where from Barnes Jewish and not the staff themselves.

We just had our baby on Tuesday, I must say this was the best experience I've ever imagined. The nurses in the labor and delivery were amazing!!!! The nurses on the 6th floor definitely deserve to be recognized for their amazing service. We had the pleasure to have Tori,Katie,Marwa. Let me tell you they have been incredible. I cannot thank them and this amazing hospital enough. The security was awesome also. All in all I would recommend this hospital to anyone who is going to be having a baby. Thanks for everything Barnes and staff!!!!!!!

Terrible experience. Husband was transferred to this part from the big Barnes in the middle of the night from one nurse saying there were not enough beds on the south side of Barnes. To another nurse saying no it’s from my husbands heart needing to be monitored by ambulance when there is nothing wrong with his heart. They transferred him by ambulance for no reason. No one can give us a reason besides us going to be getting a bill for this. No one knows what the other is doing. No communication between anyone here at all. Stuck in a room with another patient. Very loud with the other patient. Husband can not get any rest. The dr( lady), do not know her name just yet does not have good bed side manners what so ever. Pretty much a waiting game it seems to me how long they can keep a patient here and how much medicine they can throw down their throat.
