Haik Humble Eye Center

I am writing to express my utmost frustration regarding the unreasonably long wait times at the Haik Humble Retina Eye Center in West Monroe, Louisiana. My mother’s post operation appointment was at 11:00am, and yet the wait time has extended more than an hour. I expect to have to wait even longer. Not only is it inefficient and disrespectful to expect patients and their care givers to wait ridiculously long, it also comes at a financial cost to those who need to return to their employment. Furthermore, it is detrimental to the health of post surgery patients who are not spending that time recovering from surgery at home. The office management must be directed by someone who never learned how to schedule patient appointments with enough time to provide patient care before the arrival of the next patient. I imagine also that there are financial pressures in this medical practice to see as many patients as possible in a day, but it causes costly delays for the patients and their care givers. While doctor Gregorian is a very good surgeon, the inefficiency of his practice is a huge detriment to patient care and satisfaction. I do not recommend the Haik Humble Retina Eye Center.nnP.S. Their website does not even have an email address to communicate with the office manager and the managers are not listed. The front desk receptionist said the manager is Casey S., who can be reached at the Cornea Center down the street.

Rudest staff and most unprofessional place ever!nAs soon as I walked through the door they just stared at me with these snobby looks. Spoke to the lady with the gray hair behind the desk and told her I was there for an appt and she had an attitude the whole time towards me for no reason and would not even let me speak. I was on time for my appt and found out when I had called to reschedule a while back they had actually rescheduled me with a dr in Monroe instead of west Monroe where I had called and have always been seen. I was completely unaware and not made known of this.nNow I just took off work along with my husband to be my driver since my eyes would be dilated, for no reason since it was scheduled in Monroe. I got no apology or nothing, just rude remarks like I was lying and it was my fault.nI work for the post office and can’t deliver people’s mail without having an updated prescription and glasses. Since my husband also agrees, he’s had the same problems with the front staff being snobby towards him, maybe it’s our tattoos? I Wouldn’t know I don’t judge people like that.nWe’re both now considering switching companies soon.nIt takes nothing to be kind to someone, you never know what someone might be going through.nTo the owner I think you’d have an excellent better business if you’re front staff was more friendly and professional towards your customers.

All of the employees are extremely nice and helpful! Wait time is not too long at all.

I went a Dr Anders or Anderson unsure what name, at the West Monroe location due to emergency, normally I’d see my regular doctor. He told me to throw away my medicine that St Frances Urgent Care prescribed me on Friday for it was no good, then stated he prescribed me 2 more scripts and to take them, my appt was at 9am I arrived on time I called them @ 2 because CVS had not received them and they said the Dr states that I don’t need them now, but my eye is still tender; this doctor should be disbarred lying to a customer and Haik and Humble should reimburse me for the waste of my time with that horrible so called doctor! I will be changing my scripts and going to another doctor elsewhere I have gone their for years but no more; that’s no way to treat your customers of 20+ years? Any recommendations of a good eye doctor that can do surgery for I as hell no longer trust these people that’s foe sure! Terrible Experience for real!
