I have been banking at BB&T for over ten years. Sad to say the service has gone so far downhill. I completely understand COVID was tough on certain areas of our economy. However the customer experience is the worst it has ever been. Very disappointed as I imagined I would be banking with them for the rest of my life. Here I am looking for another bank. I have been trying to get in to open a savings account and get a new debit card. Previously I was told after sitting in line for about 45 minutes in the drive thru that I would have to make an appointment to come inside to do these things. Called to make an appointment day on hold for about 25 minutes and eventually hung up. Just called back about scheduling an appointment and the first thing I was told was they were extremely short staffed and they didn’t have any temporary debit cards.

Just TERRIBLE. I have been to different bb@t branches all up and down the east coast, and this branch on Ashley street in Valdosta is by far the worst I have ever encountered during my 8 years of banking with bb&t. I recently moved to Valdosta and now I have to change banks. You will wait over 30 minutes in the drive thru even with only two cars in front of you, happens every time. Worst drive thru service ever. Lazy people

Slow staff, likes to play with your money and loves to figure out ways to charge you over draft fees that dont need to happen... The app doesnt diplict any accurate info other than what you used your card for then they decide to wait until you are below the right amount to post stuff so you have to pay overdraft fees... Not worth the trouble... They all act like they are obvlivious to everything around them as they rather socialize then work...

The branch on n Ashley takes 1 1/2 hrs in the drive in line. When reported only got excuses.

This is my first experience using this branch and I’ve been sitting in the drive thru with ONE CAR ahead of me for the last 25 minutes. None of the teller lines are moving and now I’m going to be late for work because I’m blocked in. Absolutely ridiculous.
