The serenity of this place is absolutely amazing!

I had the privilege of staying here for the weekend with my son's Boy Scout troop while they earned their Horsemanship Merit Badge. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. They made us feel like part of the family. The horseback riding and the hayride were great. Everything was conducted in a safe manner, which we appreciated with a group of 12-14 year old boys. Many of them had never been on a horse, but the staff was very patient and made sure they felt comfortable in the saddle before going on a trail ride. The Bar J is a working cattle ranch, so we got to see the cowboys and cowgirls at work. I would enthusiastically recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway from city life for a day or a week.nnP.S.nCowboy Church on Sunday morning is not to be missed.
