I had to take my kitty here twice in one week due to bladder stones. They are very efficient and provide you with many updates and information regarding your pet’s health. Keep in mind this is an emergency center and if another pet comes in who is in much more critical condition than yours, you have to be patient and understand the staff is trying their best. I am overall pleased with the staff and the service we received here. Hoping our kitty gets better!!
My dumb beloved Doberman came in with what i thought was a broken hip left with the best ever treatment I’ve ever seen. You shoulda seen that dogs face! Looked like she had a puppachino from Starbucks she was so happy! The staff who helped her was super knowledgeable and very kind and sweet. Highly suggest!nThank you all!nBless up
In spite of the grave circumstances that brought us and our sick senior dog to the Peninsula Emergency Veterinary Clinic in critical condition over the past few days, we had a highly positive experience here, and know that the meticulous care our dog received from Sunday night through yesterday saved his life.nnI'd like to give special thanks to Dr. Akins and Dr.Fisher for their expertise, compassion, knowledge, and constant communication with my husband and I every step of the way on our pup's progress from Sunday night through Tuesday afternoon, and helping us feel like we had true partners in our dog's care. I'd also like to thank Dr.Clarke for her quick, life saving action in helping my dog get immediate relief when I first checked him in, and explained what measures needed to be taken.nnI'd also like to thank the wonderful technicians and nursing staff who administered round the clock care (Larette, and a wonderful nurse who also helped us through a very difficult time late on Sunday night, 12.27, I wish I could have remembered her name or written it down), who showed so much professionalism and compassion towards us and our dog, it made me feel more comforted knowing he was in their care when I couldn't be with him.nnAdditionally, I'd also like to thank the efficient and courteous front desk (Alex, Susan, Kimmie, Kristine, Amanda, Courtney) who helped bring everyone together and showed so much patience in helping us to get through the past few days.nnI know there are more folks involved with the kind and skilled care of my pup, who I wish I could thank by name, but I hope this review will help to express my gratitude for the collective efforts of the Peninsula Emergency Veterinary Clinic to help save my dog's life. Thank you all so very much for the gift of bringing our beloved pup back to us this holiday season, words can't express our gratitude.
This is the same location as the Peninsula Animal Referral Center - while this one shows up on the google map first for some reason, please bear in mind all of the reviews for the PARC as well - including my very negative experience.nnThe summary is the wait times can be very long and the staff does not communicate when your wait time increases- in my case by 3 or 4 hours, which I would not have known if I hadn't called.nnI understand that they operate by triage, but we don't know what is wrong with our pet other than a very swollen eye and lethargy, and the incessant waiting with no information on when our pet will be helped was terrifying.nnDo not recommend, go elsewhere.nnEdit: cat has a cornea ulcer, which if it was left untreated for too long would mean he would lose an eye.
