Don't be fooled by the fact that it's located in a gas station. The Chicken Coop will leave you more than satisfied with their food. Great taste and great value, and the burgers are cooked to order. A great meal for the road if you're road tripping on 29.
Amazing fried chicken and the blts are loaded with bacon! Fried potatoes and onions like mom used to make. Great service!
After reading the reviews I was really expecting something. But well I don’t feel the need to go back. I mean it’s ok. The chicken really isn’t breaded so no real flavor.
Food is always good, but today service in the deli was disappointing as the one that takes the order and preps was extremely rude and disrespectful, mocking me in the back with her cook. Additionally, she left our box of food open on the counter, getting cold, for ten minutes, as we waited for our potato wedges to cook. Not impressed with the deli customer service.
Thought the chicken was awesome until I tried the cheeseburger! Now I can’t decide my favorite. But my favorite side is definitely their homemade cole slaw! Worth the stop!
