Very friendly staff and owner. Nice selection of Virginia souvenirs (both the state and the University) as well as a large selection of peanuts. Don't be fooled by this though. Only buy Hubbs. Also stock up in February when all peanuts are 25% off.
A very friendly little Food Lion. For a store in a remote, sparsely populated county, the store is nicely stocked, produce and meats are fresh, and the personnel are friendly. So yes, if you live in Matthews County, this Food Lion will satisfy your food shopping needs.
First lets just say..... Customer Service, or lack of it. I realize the state we are in, but that should make us step up even better. I have been coming here for over 5 years, to and from Maine to Florida VIA auto train. Picking up snacks here was always a highlight. Not so much now. Selection very poor, and $$$$ way too high. All go things come to an end. If any company has outstanding customer service, that wins in the end.
Love this small food boutique. They carry great quality products .
