Bishop Boutique

Happy Saturday!nWhat a beautiful boutique this is, quaint and cute in decoration. Unfortunately my time spent inside wasn’t as pleasant I would hope. Upon walking inside, my greeting was stale like white bread, as well as the energy in the store. As I glanced around, there was no interaction outside of the hello, and me asking them how they are.nnAs I looked around, there was nothing else said, but there was a lovely couple that came in and did receive a warm welcome into the shop as well as receiving information about the great sale the store was having (which was the rack I was looking through when I first entered the store). As a patron who was actually in the area to shop, it made me feel less than to not receive the same energy.nnWhen I returned to the store to express my feelings, I was given an apology and then told that they merely got distracted by the dresses that they were looking at via the computer because one of the lovely ladies was planning a trip to Spain. Mentioning to me again they were sorry and looking at dresses(which one lovely individual mentioned are dirt cheap, and said I should look at it too). That’s the excuse I received, as well as, “it wasn’t our intention to come off that way.” But they weren’t distracted enough to greet the others that walked in. I don’t need to be talked to the whole way, but it was so easy for them to dismiss my presence.nnI do hope that this energy isn’t given to anyone else that decides to find themselves at shop. Again, super cute, the clothes looked amazing, but the energy and lack of overall personal interaction threw me. I send those lovely ladies peace and hope that they don’t encounter the same energy they gave off.

Kelly has great taste (loeffler randall, show me your mumu anyone!) and is hysterical on Instagram - you need to follow the shop! Very real.nAdditionally, Hattie is so helpful and will be honest about what looks good and maybe doesn't look as good. She always greets you with a smile and is very attentive to your needs. Just met Stephanie the other day and she was a sweetheart! I love supporting local, small business.

Amazing little boutique with reasonable prices, friendly service and great sales.

this boutique has everything you could ever dream of! The owner, Kelly, has incredible style. I honestly want one of everything in the store every time I walk inside. The manager, Hattie, is very knowledgeable about the different collections in the store and so sweet! It's my pleasure to shop at Bishop Boutique.
