Friendly staff, always try to help to their best abilities. The reason for only 4 stars is the fact that i have to go back a 3rd time to get my mailbox key cut right. Altogether a friendly neighborhood store.
My first time going to this hardware store. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Came to this Ace Hardware to buy a rivet gun and the staff members helped me out right away and led me to what I just needed. I would definitely visit this Ace Hardware again.
Their customer service was rather limited at the Old Town Ace Hardware during the evening when my grandsons and I visited from National Harbor. I was forced to do my own research for a Big Green Egg Grill addition which was in stock and could not get anyone to assist me while there. In my research while at the store and viewing the product I wanted in person, I left and ordered from Amazon because it was much cheaper. I would have purchased from this location, but again, nobody was available to discuss what I wanted to purchase, unfortunately. As a retailer, you never know what a consumer is looking for and will ultimately purchase. Since I had to do all the work myself, I purchased elsewhere.
This Ace was absolutely amazing. We didn't know anything about paint and the staff were eager and willing to help. They taught us about what paint to use, how to prep the surface, and how to actually do it. Incredibly helpful and at a good price!
Needed bolts but didn't want to drive to the big box stores. I'm able to walk here and find a great selection and what I needed. First time I was there but won't be the last. Easy in and check out.
