Awful. Waited 4 and half hours. Was passing blood guess it wasnt too big a deal. Had to sit in those comfortable chairs. I left I couldn't take it. Go somewhere else if you need help because you aren't gonna get it here. Got into triage quick but after that forget about that. There were 6 others in the waiting area and after 4 hours 1 person was able to go in the back. People from other states say Massachusetts has best medical care maybe so but with emergency rooms.
Future nurses, don't work for this place! Hospital management does not protect you or hold their unsafe employees responsible for their actions. I am a RN that was yelled at, cursed at, and threatened by a patient care assistant, simply for delegating necessary patient care tasks to her. I properly followed up with management, and nothing was done about it. JUST BEWARE! It's all about having the warm body there to do the work, who cares about employee safety?! I regret being hired by this company. I love my nurses, and the hard work we do everyday to make sure our patients are well taken care of. We don't deserve that kind of treatment. If it does happen, we deserve to be supported by our employer through the right decision to address unsafe working conditions to make us feel secure in our workplace environment.
I went into the ER Saturday the 10th for difficulty breathing and a very bad cough from COVID. After a few hours and seeing the doctor once, I was told it was normal symptoms, given an ineffective cough medicine and sent home. I have been literally coughing my lungs out for the past 3 days. I called my PCP who checked the x-rays the ER took and found that I have pneumonia and was never told! How do you not tell someone that can barely breath and constantly coughing they don't have pneumonia??!!! Luckily my PCP picked it up and prescribed a medicine that actual works. This place is a joke! If I did something even remotely close to misdiagnosing a patient in severe need, I would have been fired and sued.
Had prostate surgery the whole staff were incredible the room was exceptional my urology team were top notch highly recommend Dr Igor sorokin as a urology doctor he was truly the best this was done at 119 Belmont st campus
Emergency room is dirty and my nurse didnt talk to me much. got yelled at by a asian er nurse for no reason and told me to leave the emergency room. my room was also dirty used masks in my gown and used gloves and wrappers on the floor. also having a kid here and my obgyn talks about planned parenthood all the time to me and treats me like i dumb and special, overall i this hospital makes me feel uncomfortable.
