I would have loved so badly to give this place a rave review based on the first experience I had. However I have to give it an awful review.nnI purchased a jacket from this store and when I asked the associate if I could return if it didn’t fit my husband she said absolutely they have a 14 day return policy. (Emma)nnThe next day from purchase, I call to see if they have have it in a size smaller, they do not, so I tell her on the phone I will come to return the jacket. She says absolutely no problem. (Allison I believe)nn15 minutes later... I show up at the store and let the associate know I am returning the jacket, no sooner that I say I am returning the jacket he says he can’t accept the return. I explain all the conversations I had with previous people and he said first, no returns on items on sale. I said well you should probably inform your other staff members because two of them told me otherwise. He then decided a he can’t return it because of a small white residue smear, which was in fact salt that probably got on it transferring from car to store. He then concocted this story about how I probably used the jacket but kept the tags on. Who accuses someone of that?!? Especially a customer, patron, anyone!nnThis is what was so appalling. How dare someone accuse a customer of this. After purchasing the jacket less than 24 hrs ago with ZERO sign of wear. I could have taken my finger and wiped the salt off but he immediately took the jacket from me when I suggested that.nnTHEN when he finally agreed to give me the return when he (Mike, the manager) realized I wasn’t backing down, I explained to him that I purchased the jacket partially with a gift card, and the rest on my debit. He was so unprofessional and said “I will just have to give you cash then” whips open the cash register and practically throws the money over the counter.nnI then explain to him to have a nice day, he doesn’t even respond. But walks away.nnI used to be an employee of this mountain, have so many fantastic and fond memories. And this experience RUINED it. Unbelievable.

Awesome shop. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Prices and stock were the best I’ve seen anywhere. Jason hooked me up and taught me a lot in the process. Great experience, I will definitely buy all my gear here from now on.

Had an emergency snowboard issue and they were able to fix it on the spot. While I was waiting, I was looking for smart wool and Jeff swooped in to help. He's the man. Excellent customer service, extensive knowledge and super friendly. Only reason for 4-stars is that they're literally on the Wachusett mtn so I had to take a bus to the mountain from a second parking just to get there bc the first lot was full. Inconvenient but totally worth it.

Awesome store for winter sports! Reasonable prices ( for a store on the mountain), and very helpful staff.

Awesome ski tuning. Had them do two pairs for me while I skied another pair all day. They were pleasant and did great work. Would highly recommend for tuning and their prices are more than reasonable. I have also demoed skis here before and they were nice and had a good selection. They carry some very reputable brands including rossignol, Salomon, volkl, kastle, and others. Thanks for the awesome service!
