Beware of the emergency room. We visited the ER when my son fell off his onewheel and his wrist started swelling up. The doctor and nurse were very helpful and professional. So we have no complaints with the medical care. We were there for about 2 hours and left with a splint on his wrist (no reset or cast needed). The problem came almost a year later when we were finally billed for the visit. The bill was almost $3000 for this simple procedure. After many calls, and emails we got NO answers as to why this visit was so much more than general standards. There appears to be a double charge and no one will answer our questions. We paid $2100 and asked for justification of expenses for the rest. We got no answers - they just sent it to a collections agency until we finally gave up and just paid it so we wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. I will be looking for other places to file a complaint.

We were on vacation, and our son started to experience ear pain. It was on a saturday so had to go to the ER. We got registered, and they told us to take a seat in the waiting room. After waiting for maybe about 5min, we were called to the exam room by Natalie RN. She was just amazing!! We met Dr. Dutczak O. He was very kind and took his time to listen and examine my son. My son felt very comfortable talking to him. We were barely there for about 30min, and we left with a diagnosis and prescription. I have never received better care and services from a hospital or emergency room! We visited the hospital a week ago and today received a follow-up call from Dr. Dutczak. Now that was amazing!! Thank you for all that you do.

Heaven forbid something serious happens to you.....it’s been almost 5 hours waiting for the results of a leg ultrasound (images have to be transferred to a hospital in Honolulu....) and a blood test....

Had a left hip replacement as an outpatient. Staff in same day surgery were professional, informative & exacting. They appeared stressed & possibly understaffed..??..Post op staff friendly & also informative however seemed a little unsure about discharge instructing. Due to Covid & not being able to have a family member in on the d/c teaching OR the physical therapy teaching , I left feeling uncertain, in general. I think they did the best they could however would have wanted a family member on telehealth or Skype or at least on the phone to ask questions. I was sleepy & hardly heard the wonderful nurse And PT discharging me! The discharging staff seemed very pushed to get me out of their department. I guess that is the nature of their job with same day procedures. Thanks for listening!

I have no complaints about this stay. ALL staff was friendly. They worked well as a team. Pain management was the best I could hope for. A top notch team.
