Small but very efficient. The personnel at alaska air/horizon were very friendly and helpful. Not many amenities but you don't have much of a wait.
The King Salmon airport is awful in almost every way.nIt's filthy, there's no soap in the bathrooms (the sink in the men's was actually completely broken), there's minimal seating, there isn't any where nearby to go if you end up with a delayed flight or shuttle, the security is non-existent and the only up side is that the staff and crew aren't mean.
Understaffed, resulting in far too many issues. Flight was cancelled, got a flight out the next day. They didn't ship bags until the following day and only because we called. They seemed oblivious to the problem that an entire flights worth of baggage was temporarily lost and then delayed. Very poorly maintained facilities and really nasty restroom.nnGwen was charming though, hard worker.
In my opinion..... horrible airport. One of the nastiest men's rooms I have ever walked into. The ticket people were nice and all other things were OK for a small airport BUT there was no excuse for how nasty and unclean the men's room was.
