Great local gathering of food, music and drinks. Family friendly with lots of local food and crafts, always a nice thing to do on Wednesday night when Hilo is dead

A must for everybody. $3.00 parking and every Wednesday 5:00 to 12:00pm. I get there at 4:45 and get a seat at one of the 40 picnic tables that are under a open building. One can get fresh veggies, fruit, hot meals and artisans sell clothes, pipes, etc. Bring your own liquor as it is ok to BYOB and food. $5.00 for a party cup of red wine though. Bar there and lots of alternative lifestyle folks. Worth the drive for sure. Native Hawaiian play for everyone and good vibes abound. All ages present .

Easily a highlight of my visit to the island! Vendors had all sorts of neat items for sale, all the food I tried was amazing, wicked live music, and everyone was very welcoming. Join in the positive vibe here and you'll have a great time. Go Wednesday night ;)

Open air festival type atmosphere. Lots of local venders selling, fruits, juices, handmade crafts & clothes and foods and alcoholud83dude09. Live music into the night makes for an interesting & entertaining break in the middle of the week. Drawback - bathrooms weren't very distinguishable and as it got daeker, the younger the people who were getting drunk seemed,no I don't drink. Ownership has temporarily closed the Wednesday festivities to curb the underage drinking but it's a shame they had to. The other drawback was some of the wannabe hippie/deadheads who still don't get that, through all the peace & love rhetoric they spill, they don't realize they're being very rude by not taking a proper shower- with soap & water! They still believe that patchouli oil & B.O. is a pleasant smell!
