A nice, quiet, uncrowded place to go play pool... although their cues are not in very good shape.
Cool fishermans style dive bar. Pool. Ping pong on occasion. Cold drinks. Smiling bartenders, chill atmosphere. Love it!

My girlfriend and I ended up at Mad Marlin after our snorkeling expedition was canceled due to inclement weather.nnDespite it being Christmas day, there were several locals grabbing a drink, watching basketball, and shooting pool. They had even assembled a complimentary Christmas buffet with ham, turkey, green bean casserole, etc.nnOur bartender Sammy was also exceptional, and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. If we're ever back in Kona we'll be sure to stop by again.
