My daughter has an account here, we recently moved off island and started an account for her at a major mainland bank. The mainland bank has made everything so much more difficult for us, often making us call HFS several times a day to clarify things or calling HFS themselves. HFS is compassionate, caring and helpful every single time we call. I can't say enough good things about how understanding and kind they've been about this situation!

Love this place as they are always nice and happy. The line goes by moderately fast and the tellers are always happy to help you. I haven't had one bad experience banking here and will definitely do more banking here. This is also a great first bank for starters.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. People at Waimea and Honokaa banks are great, but the bank itself is horrible and the people at the call center are horrible and rude. And half the time when we call, we get transferred to THE MAINLAND! We didn’t choose this bank, we were forced to bank with them when they when they took over our amazing little credit union.
