For those of you who have not experienced the expertise of Bill Bounds and his lovely wife when it comes to offering framing advice and design along with framing your special piece of art, be assured that there is none better. We have always used very experienced framers for our art work over the years. Once we moved to Anacortes, we found it difficult to connect with a truly accomplished framer who understood the perfection and the advice that we desired in prior to framing one of our pieces. I can assure you that Bill and his wife quickly assessed our needs and expectations. From the beginning, our experience has evolved into a friendship and skill that we can trust. We first came to meet them over a year ago. Since then, we have enjoyed not only their friendship, but the skills that they both demonstrate. Bill has framed numerous pieces that we had collected for some time while our home in Anacortes was being completed. Their advice has always been spot on. In addition, they are sensitive as to the cost that we have wanted to have done. We can only encourage those of you who are art collectors of any nature to give them a call. For 25 years I have entrusted precious pictures of my grandparents, to items preserved in a shadow box, to original artwork to Bill to professionally frame. There is no one else I would go to for a more perfect, museum-quality, end result. Bill and June will work with you to get exactly what you want. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! I spent months researching framing and restoration looking for someplace I could trust with my most precious keepsake. When my mother passed away last year, I found the one and only painting she ever created buried in a closet, laden with heavy smoke damage from a previous house fire and covered in old, yellowed varnish. The painting is over 50 years old and had a missing corner. I first went to a restoration expert who would not take on the project, citing the extensive labor and possible unfavorable outcome. When I met with Bill Bounds, I knew right away this was the only person I could entrust with confidence. The pricing was also very reasonable. When I picked up the framed painting I was completely overwhelmed with emotion as he not only removed the varnish, but also repaired the corner seamlessly! Although I am attaching pictures, they do not do justice due to the glare of the glass in the photo. I cannot convey the brilliance of the painting and the joy it brings me to see it so beautifully framed and restored to the way it looked the day she finished painting it.
